Over View of the History of HossLogic Principles

Hoss logic, is an age old, approach..
no games, but a REAL and PRACTICAL equine approach that addresses the needs of the complete horse from head to hoof while putting you in touch with your own needs in relationship to your horse. This is a method where you and your horse can meld toward a strong bond.

How is this approach "age old?" Hoss logic is based on sound equine techniques developed over time and proven over the centuries. It is developed from practices which began as far back as the beginning centuries of time when man and horse first learned to work and play in harmony with one another.

Hoss logic can be found in the techniques of the Bedouins who brought their young horses into their tents to live with them. Today this and other similar equine practices are sometimes referred to as "imprinting" which is also explored in HossLogic.

Hoss logic was used by "horse whisperers" before the name was made popular and methods attempting to unravel the depths of this ancestral equine knowledge were made "modern" and commercialized.

Hosslogic was handed down from the ancients and rediscovered by time and time again by astute horseman of the 18th and 19th centuries who knew that to really change an attitude it must be understood.

Hoss logic was handed down to me through my grandpa who called it "Hoss Logic" and I later learned more from other skilled and time wizened farriers and horseman, some now remembered and others not so well known, who also believed that horsemanship was more than riding, working, or performing on a horse.

What to Expect From the Study of HossLogic

Who can benefit from "HossLogic"? "HossLogic" can and has been used successfully with gaited horses as well as non gaited horses. It is the first method to have its origin with horses that could gait and to take the needs of a gaited horse into consideration. It is a method that lends support to all breed characteristics and needs including the needs of gaited horse owners and their equine companions.

What is the goal? Understanding WHY you do certain exercises and activities is as important as doing them when it comes to practical application.

How can it be applied?Through HossLogic you are taught to use your new found knowledge to build a stronger relationship with your horse and teach and nurture the attitudes, skills, and desired reactions to your requests as you relate to your equine companion and friend.
